I hope to write about most of these things eventually (maybe not the clementine...), but right now my brain seems to be stuck in consumption mode rather than production. Maybe later. For now, I'm going to go back to devouring some probably terrible YA books I checked out from the library.
I'm not a huge fan of jargon myself. I understand that certain words help to make the conveyance of information easier, but at the same time if you become TOO dependent on jargon, you'll eventually wind up having to explain the way you talk to people who have never heard of the expression you use, which uses up more time than the jargon saves.
ReplyDeleteAlso I've never been very good at remembering exact jargon terms myself, so there's a personal bias there. <.<;
I am in favour of you explaining what 'kyriarchy' means, because it confuses and intrigues me, and at the moment it just makes me think of Kyrian, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't refer to him.
